IRON Consultoria to provide Effective ManagersTM Manager Assessment and Effective Point of Accountability® services

São Paulo, Brazil. Dwight Mihalicz, President of Effective ManagersTM and Cristian Welsh Miguens, Director of IRON Consultoria, announced today the signing of an agreement to collaborate on the use of the Effective ManagersTM methodology.

Since 1987, IRON Consultoria has continuously studied and researched market developments, the resulting impact on management and the development of solutions to the arising problems.

Cristian stated that the time was ripe for such an agreement: “Once again IRON is trying to keep a step ahead in Brazil and sought a partnership with the Canadian consulting firm Effective ManagersTM, to provide managers with assistance and a proven methodology for the improvement of management effectiveness. Because of the wide crisis Brazil is going through, we require deep changes in the business environment, and a rethinking of the organization and its business model. Organizations are trying to change to be more cost efficient and to be more responsive to clients. Now we have some excellent tools to help them with these challenges.”

“I am delighted to welcome Cristian and IRON Consultoria to the family of consulting firms that are using the Effective ManagersTM methodology to help their clients improve organizational performance”, said Dwight Mihalicz. “I have already had the pleasure of working with Cristian as we both volunteer for the CMC-Global, the body that oversees the global standard for management consulting, and I am delighted to collaborate with him professionally as well.”

The new agreement and Effective Managers’ methodology will be introduced to 50 main companies operating in Brazil at the Human Resources Revolution 2016 event, in São Paulo city on May 18th and 19th.

Cristian, who will be speaking at the event, commented on the partnership: “We share insights and the same perspective on the importance of management effectiveness for success in Brazil’s new market environment. The Effective ManagersTM unique methodology and competencies will help us to assist our clients to cope with the new complex environment that demands permanent changes.”

The Effective Manager™ Assessment uses a proprietary survey methodology to engage managers specifically to assess their overall effectiveness, and the key factors that impede or support them in their work. The benchmark shows that managers are, in fact, working at only 55% effectiveness. The results can provide insights to CEOs and Heads of HR on how to align their managerial work force so that strategy execution can be enhanced. Results offer insight prior to a major change initiative in the organization that can help shape a new organizational design, like a merger or acquisition.

The Effective ManagersTM Assessment is a 94-question confidential survey has been developed to gather data directly from managers, who can log on to a secure web site to provide their direct input on these measures. Traditional employee surveys require all employers to participate. With this survey, a CEO can get the results with an investment of 20 – 30 minutes of each manager’s time.

CEOs will receive a report that details the findings in their organization, grouped together with benchmark results. Each measure is described in detail to ensure an understanding of what the results mean. The report concludes with the high level findings, customized for their organization, together with the areas of greatest strengths and greatest opportunities. If a CEO can understand the relationships between these measures and effectiveness in their organizations, action can be taken that will improve effectiveness.
