The partnership will be launched on March 16, 2016 at an executive briefing in Winnipeg to introduce the Effective ManagersTM tools for improving business performance to several senior executives of Manitoba-based organizations.

Randy, who will together with Tim be opening the launch of the partnership at the executive briefing, commented on the partnership: “After having known Dwight for several years, we are pleased to have developed a collaborative business relationship with Effective ManagersTM. We’ve been very impressed with the thoroughness of Dwight’s research in developing the Effective ManagersTM approach to organizational performance.”

The Effective Manager™ Assessment uses a proprietary survey methodology to engage managers specifically to assess their overall effectiveness, and the key factors that impede or support them in their work. The benchmark shows that managers are, in fact, working at only 55% effectiveness. The results can provide insights to CEOs and Heads of HR on how to align their managerial work force so that strategy execution can be enhanced. Results also offer insight prior to a major change or transformation initiative in an organization.

Tim, who will be co-hosting the launch of the partnership at the Kist announcement photoexecutive briefing, commented on the partnership: “Although I have only known Dwight for a short time, I am impressed with the depth of knowledge he has around accountability and manager effectiveness.  Linking with a respected institution like the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Business ensures credibility and a structured process has been maintained to assess managerial effectiveness.  In addition, The Effective Manager process can also assist in developing the plan to improve the performance of managers in an organization.”

The Effective ManagersTM Assessment is a 94-question confidential survey has been developed to gather data directly from managers, who can log on to a secure web site to provide their direct input on these measures. Traditional employee surveys require all employers to participate. With this survey, a CEO can get the results with an investment of 20 – 30 minutes of each manager’s time.

CEOs will receive a report that details the findings in their organization, grouped together with benchmark results. Each measure is described in detail to ensure an understanding of what the results mean. The report concludes with the high level findings, customized for their organization, together with the areas of greatest strengths and greatest opportunities. If a CEO can understand the relationships between these measures and effectiveness in their organizations, action can be taken that will improve effectiveness.
