Growhmself Consulting to provide Effective ManagersTM Manager Assessment and Effective Point of Accountability® services in Romania
Bucharest, Romania. Dwight Mihalicz, President of Effective ManagersTM announced today the signing of a partnership agreement with Growhmself Consulting, based in Romania.
“We are delighted to welcome our first consulting firm from the European Union into the Effective ManagersTM family”, said Dwight Mihalicz. “Anca and I have worked very closely together as Board members on the CMC-Global Institute. In addition, she is the Treasurer of CMC-Global so we volunteer colleagues as well. Anca is a great addition to our team, and I know the methodology will serve her clients in Eastern Europe very well. ”
Anca Bors, Founder of Growhmself, commented on the agreement and its potential in Romania and nearby countries: “I am glad to have the opportunity thanks to Dwight to bring Effective ManagersTM methodology to Romanian companies. I believe it will be of great benefit by rising their awareness on the actual issues of the organisation, instead of treating the effects. The aim is to make available the methodology to as many companies in the region to better serve their needs. The long-time collaboration with Dwight will strengthen our common goal to increase managers effectiveness.”
Having more than fifteen years of international management consulting experience with a strong component on projects consulting and local development, the founding manager of Growhmself is further expanding the services offered to new clients and sectors.
Alongside financial, performance improvement, project management and organisational consulting, the focus is understanding clients needs and responding to them through collaboration and genuine receptivity. Building trusting relations with clients is the result of ethics and competencies.
The Effective ManagersTM methodology includes a proprietary assessment tool and the “rules of the road” for delegating work and collaborating in organizations, The Effective Point of Accountability® framework. The assessment benchmark shows that managers are, in fact, working at only 55% effectiveness. The results can provide insights to CEOs and Heads of HR on how to align their managerial work force so that strategy execution can be enhanced. Results can also offer insight prior to a major change initiative in the organization that can help shape a new organizational design, like a merger or acquisition.
“The timing is great”, added Dwight, “as we have just revamped the assessment program to help potential clients see the direct correlation between manager effectiveness and employee engagement. It is well understood that organizations with higher engagement of employees are much higher performing on many dimensions. But it is not well understood that the root cause of disengagement is poor managerial leadership. Organizations now have a tool to measure manager effectiveness.
“The next step is actually improving engagement, which means improving manager effectiveness. Interestingly, the same things you need to do to improve engagement will also improve strategy execution. This is what the Effective Point of Accountability® is all about… how we work together for success in this organization.”
