Dwight Mihalicz addresses delegates after his election is announced

Milan, Italy. At its Annual Meeting of Delegates held in Milan, Italy, Dwight Mihalicz FCMC was elected as Chair of CMC-Global (the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes) for a 3 year term. Dwight recently served as CMC-Global treasurer (5 years) and now assumes the lead of this global association of 50 national Institutes of Management Consulting (IMCs).

“CMC-Global is an amazing organization,” said Mihalicz. “It is the federation of 49 national Institutes, plus the Global Institute, that collaborate to improve the profession of management consulting everywhere in the world. I am humbled that the delegates to this year’s Annual Meeting held in Milan, Italy elected me to be the Chair of the Global Board. In this time of disruption in so many industries, the role of the management consultant is even more important. As Chair, my role will be to work with our Board, our Secretariat and the IMCs so we can collaborate to both promote and enhance the profession. It is an exciting time to be in this role and I am looking forward to working with my colleagues around the world.”

Dwight is the first Canadian to serve as Chair of ICMCI since David Amar (Montreal) in 1993.

Other Canadians involved in leadership roles with ICMCI include Glenn Yonemitsu (Chair, Membership Committee), Randy Baldwin (Chair, Established IMC Community) and Doug Macnamara (Past Chair, Marketing Committee).
